Just reading the title of the link, I'm guessing NBC isn't really "bringing back" The Rockford Files, but remaking it.
Bringing it back -- as in, rerunning the original episodes in prime time -- would be a move exceeded in fantasticalness only by bringing back -- as in, rerunning the original episodes in prime time -- of The Night Stalker.
