Oh my gosh. Talk about insular. Posting about how many comments various posts by another Beliefnet blogger got?? These people really do LIVE on the Internet.
And o the sanctimony. Chiding people for posting fewer comments on the cancer post than on the wine post?? Please. Yes, it is horrible that Rod's sister is dying of cancer. Having lost dear friends to aggressive cancer, I can relate. But I do not think that the low number of comments on Rod's cancer post means that Americans cannot come to grips with mortality. Give me a flippin' break. How self-important can these guys get? This is positively Dreherian.
"This hypocritical double standard, among other things, is why I no longer read Shea's blog. When someone preaches about charity, but only practices it when it comes to "his sort of people"...well, I have a hard time taking them seriously."
I can't believe I didn't know what Web 2.0 is. D'oh!!!! And hey, we're well into Web 3.0 now...sheesh!
