Huckabee Wins Iowa

As a concession speech, Mitt Romney's is not as memorable as Howard Dean's. But I think that's probably a good thing.

Boy, I wish I had 1% of the moolah ol' Mitt burnt on Iowa. I'd take yins all out on a cruise of the 'burgh on the Gateway Clipper.

    for the first time in months i visited the rodblog suspecting he'd be a huckafan and i was right. it's too funny how dreher interprets every little blip on the horizon as God's own affirmation of the dreher weltanschaung. he was just tingly over the iowa results, mistakenly believing that the NR Corner-ites reaction must be similarly intense in the opposite direction.

    All right -- I'll come clean.

    In the primaries I'm planning to vote for John McCain, a thought which would have absolutely horrified me 6 months ago.

    If he keels over dead before March 4, I'll vote for either Huckabee or Romney, I haven't decided. Or Thompson... maybe, if he's gets some caffeine.

    You can tell I'm taking this really seriously at this point.
