Well, they were pretty close, uhh, yeah, other than the preponderance of women wearing dresses and men wearing mustachios and top-hats. And that weather control machine. And the moving sidewalk. Well, maybe they weren't so close....
This ship/train reminds me that the new Transformers movie is coming out in a few months. I'm there, dude.

there's actually an "overland canal" somewhere in eastern europe that looks a lot like the postcard you include here. i never would have known that if my son didn't force me to watch the national geographic channel.

ReplyDeleteWell, we have ``moving sidewalks'' at O'Hare Airport. And wouldn't one of those little private planes qualify as a personal flying machine?
