The Traveling Dingleberries

Another one from LRS.

The Roy Orbison part causes laugh tears.

I think it's interesting how much this pure pleasure technique makes its practitioners sound like Tom Waits. I'm sure Kathleen won't disagree....

Here's another demonstration of how hard it is to play slide guitar without hearing faculties. Yeah--a Diarrhea Straits cover.

Check out Evenflow, lol. The singer just starts laughing at one point.

  4. Musical Youth, pass the Dutchie.

    These are all good, imao.

(Brief aside: remember the people proclaiming that Musical Youth was the next Jackson 5? Did they forget the Jacksons had telent. Just sayin'.)

Had my wife cracking up with China Grove. It's great--he doesn't even know the lyrics. The drummer sounds like a complete non-drummer. Sounds like our guitarist playing. Totally sloppy hi-hat work. Love it.

  5. Great comment on Dream Weaver by Altered13th: "Nothing says '70's like back up singer chicks in white bath robes"

  6. I know, I've wasted so much time watching this stuff. The jew's harp always adds so much--kind of like the bacon bits of the musical kingdom. The violin in that one (I love the night life) would cause Dracula to commit suicide. And how about the absurd out of key xylophone? A perfect compliment.
