Ben Howe from Red State shows how the left did the same thing that Sarah Palin did, i.e., "targeting" political figures for political elimination. It's well worth reading as Howe goes through methodically building up to the finale. At that point he shows how the Kos kids—including Markos himself—directed the "dead to me" and "bulls eye on their district[s]" language toward Gabrielle Giffords herself.
I read the Democrats have defended the use of targets on their maps because they aren't any different than the logo that Target stores use. So I guess everyone was supposed to see their maps as store locators?
ReplyDeleteAll this stuff reminds me of Jack Handey's Deep Thought about the sparrow and the parrot. "I bet the sparrow looks at the parrot and thinks, yes, you can talk, but LISTEN TO YOURSELF!"
