The following statement can be attributed to Mike Gonidakis, Executive Director of Ohio Right to Life:

"Ohio Right to Life condemns the killing of Dr. George Tiller. Such violence is inconsistent with the core beliefs of the pro-life movement and has no place in any civilized society.

As Ohio Right to Life's official Proclamation against Violence states, we and all legitimate pro-life groups are 'committed to the peaceful, legal, social, and political reform of our culture to affirm and protect all human life, and are unalterably opposed to any form of violence against abortion personnel and facilities.'

We will continue to work for peaceful and life-affirming solutions to aid pregnant women and their unborn children. Such solutions will never be advanced by violence of any kind against anyone."
