    Thanks for the link to one of my pieces on "Danse de la argent et la mort". I got the idea from looking at some woodcuts by Hans Holbein which build on the medieval "danse macabre" theme. I sensed the social satire they contained and asked myself, "if Holbein were around today, what would he satirize using this theme?" So it took off from there.
