Sandra Fluke goes down on Election Night

Birth-control pill-popper Sandra Fluke lost her California State Senate bid to ostensibly less bad Democrat Ben Allen. Breitbart reports that Fluke got over $26,000 from Planned Parenthood and that her campaign was negative and mainly based on the fact that Rush Limbaugh called her names. From the Daily Caller article:

The face of the Obamacare contraception mandate has lost her bid for state Senate in California’s 26th Congressional District.

Sandra Fluke was facing off against another Democrat, Ben Allen, who is a board member of the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District.

The women’s rights activist received 39 percent of the vote while Allen won with 61 percent.

. . . . .

Fluke is currently a legal intern at the Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking. She is scheduled to graduate from Georgetown this year.

Fluke did not respond to The Daily Caller’s requests for comment.

So it turns out that having conservatives call you names isn't enough to base a winning campaign on. But I'm afraid she'll be back. She obviously loves attention, and doesn't seem to mind being known as a female who is typical of the loosest state in America.

  1. This is likely an example of the other edge of the sword of phony, kiss-ass liberal media narratives: blinding folks like Fluke, Davis, Obama, etc. to just how the voting public really feels about them until it's too late.

    1. Yes, I like that way to put it. I always felt that GOP candidates are more like tempered steel, tried in the fire, and we really saw that this time. FitzGerald felt like he was the CHOSEN ONE because he was surrounded by people who reinforced that mirage....

    2. Sandra Fluke will be spat out by the progressive elite now that she's no longer of use. See Cindy Sheehan and countless other examples.

    3. Eh, maybe...I hope. Cindy Sheehan's message is anti-Bush and her popularity died when Obama was elected. Plus she's old and not very cute.

    4. Fluke is not attractive, and her grooming and dress make the worse of her mediocre assets.

I think it's to Fluke's benefit that she lost. She might actually go out and locate an ordinary job practicing law and leave the social justice warrior gigs behind.

    5. I think for Fluke it's like that Seinfeld episode where one second the woman is beautiful and the next second she is a complete cow.

    6. The girl has way too much chin. She is too strong in the jawline to look feminine, even with lipstick and jewelry. #Meeeow

    7. While we're dog-piling, I'm afraid that the least attractive thing about her is the prospect of having to spend time with her.

  2. Keith, I just read that the problem was that the polls were all skewed, and the candidates believed the polls...because they were pretty accurate in 2012, but now they're worthless. Or something like that. I think I saw it at NR or somewhere.
