Let me take you there

I considered Lonesome Loser by Little River Band just to go all Sesame Street on the letter L, but I settled on good ol' Led Zeppelin.

Robert Plant referred to Kashmir as the "definitive Led Zeppelin song" and all the members of the band similarly raved about it as their peak achievement. (Source)

  1. Your posting of the Little River Band for "L" would have driven me to be a sycophant over at Dreher's blog ....

    1. Lol. I was never an LRB fan although my brother was. He probably would have chosen Chicago for C and Doobie Bros for D.

    2. And by that I expect you mean the post-Terry Kath Chicago and the Michael MacDonald-era Doobie Bros, i.e. when neither one was a rock-and-roll band anymore.

P.S. The story of Terry Kath's death is a good lesson regarding the use of semi-automatic handguns.
