"I don't care what they say"

UO has always been cheesy arena-rock redivivus and I dig them. I saw them a couple years back with my wife at the Grog Shop in Cleveland Heights.

Saturation came out a year before Pulp Fiction which featured their cover of Neil Diamond's Girl You'll be a Woman Soon. It's one of my favorite rock albums.

I could have posted Linger or These Are Days for '93; both very artful. But I'm a male chauvinist today, I guess.

Something Cosmic from Austin, TX

I pulled a "what the..." when I saw the title. Sabbath cover, obviously, but WOW. Blew me away.

"Fairies Wear Boots" performed by Brown Sabbath.

From this page I learned that "Brown Sabbath is the alter ego of Austin-based psych-funk collective Brownout. When performing as Brown Sabbath the eight-piece group delves deep into the catalog of the mighty Black Sabbath."

That guitarist can really shred. Good drums and percussion as well.

Tell him the dog is turning red

Love this song. Actually was checking out Beauty Trip, another one of my favorites, but this video is beautiful. Check out how the guitars interweave.

This guitarist is great!

Andy McKee, "Drifting".

Dating myself here, but this dude plays like Michael Hedges. I obviously don't follow music the way I used to.

"I stand up next to a mountain..."

"...and I chop it down with the edge of my hand."

Say that again....

Actually I was checking out some of his work on Let's Dance when I found this. Cat People in particular rocks. I can't get the SRV sound out of my head, and dat be a good ting, dog.
