Beginning to See the Light
Here's the cherry on top, man. My week is already made. The famous VU drummer, Maureen "Moe" Tucker, at a Tea Party rally. Red State has the scoop with this video:
Moe comes on around 2:38 in the video. Reason reported on this also. Moe has always been her own person. John Cale talked about how back in the band days she would bring a dress when they toured to wear to Mass on Sunday. He said she drank with the band but didn't do all the drugs they were into.

ReplyDeleteGreg Gutfeld on *Red Eye* talked about this and was ridiculing the mournful moanings of various liberal bloggers who were so "disappointed" that Moe would be one of those awful "teabaggers". Hilarious!
Meanwhile, I suppose that they can comfort themselves with the knowledge that Lou Reed is a devout leftard.
Yeah, I commented on Red State that we conservatives are used to segregating the "art & the artist", but they aren't on the left. I can appreciate the work of George Clooney, Whoopi Goldberg and Michael Stipe and still think they are complete moral idiots. I just shrug and say "oh well". But the left goes nuts because they demand obedience from their gods. They lack something that most adults have--maturity.
