ReplyDeleteKathleen, I haven't used a cast-iron skillet for many a year, but I was thinking. Do you like cast iron furniture? I got some when we bought our house a year ago. It's very nice and not at all overly masculine.
ReplyDeleteI don't like Charles Bukowski much. Even worse are his legion of fans who think he's brilliant. I'm not sure I can say that describing a hoooker having sex with a cockroach in anything but juvenile.

And I still don't know about Charles Bukowski, nor am I now much interested in reading anything he's written. And no, I don't think I'll start with Flower, Fist, Ass and Bestial Wail -- I guess that's only for "guys".
