You have to watch this. There is so much here. Obama's Organizing for America gins up a rent-a-mob. Breitbart starts engaging him and they call him gay.


Then someone orders the rent-a-mob to back off, probably because they saw the Fox cameras, etc. Breitbart receives an apology from a handler named Eugene H. Winkler, who googles out to be a Chicago preacher and social activist associated with the group Protestants for the common good.

Then I realized that this Eugene Winkler was the angry guy who earlier slipped and said "We're not paying anybody!" Then it's like (oops) "Nobody's getting paid!" They know when the jig is up.

Breitbart is going to take down the left with cheap camcorders.

No More Unicorns, or Disorganization Equals Good News

Americans do best when they remain in a state of general disorganization with regard to politics. Yes, that's an assertion, that's my opinion. So I am as happy as Dan McLaughlin over at RedState as he reports on this Time article re: "Obama's Army": Excerpt from the RedState piece:

Ah, the perils of treating politics as a substitute for religion. George W. Bush never had that problem; nobody really came to politics for the first time in 2000 because they thought voting for Bush would make them feel personally fulfilled, would end politics as we have known it, would end the nation’s racial divisions and make the world love us, or that he would pay their mortgage and car payments. Bush got elected because he seemed like a guy who could be trusted to do the job. And of course, that’s before you get to Obama’s actual job performance:

WHY, asks a Democrat leading a training session for fellow activists, doesn’t “Yes we can” work as a slogan any more? “Because we haven’t,” a jaded participant responds.

TIME notes that the Obama team is now trying to rebuild OFA in time for 2012, but that’s cold comfort for Democrats across the country who never did have Obama’s personal glamor.

So earlier this year, when the White House gave OFA a whopping $30 million — more than half of the party's entire budget for 2010 — senior Democrats suspected a hidden agenda. Several tell Time that OFA boss David Plouffe, who ran Obama's 2008 campaign, is using the cash to rebuild an army for 2012 under the cover of boosting turnout in 2010. OFA is putting staff into such states as Virginia, North Carolina and Arizona, which have few close statewide races this fall but which are all prime targets in an Obama re-election campaign. "This is totally about 2012," Cook says.

It's all about the Big Guy.

Best Article on Palin-hatred so far

One clue: the miscreants who were brutalizing me didn't exactly look Reagan-esque. In middle and high schools, they were minority kids enraged about forced busing. On the streets of New York City and Berkeley, they were derelicts and hoodlums.

Another red flag: while liberal men did indeed hold up those picket signs, they didn't do anything else to protect me. In fact, their social programs enabled bad behavior and bred chaos in urban America. And when I was accosted by thugs, those leftist men were missing in action.

What else should have tipped me off? Perhaps the fact that so many men in ultra-left Berkeley are sleazebags. Rarely a week goes by that I don't hear stories from my young female clients about middle-aged men preying on them. With the rationale of moral relativism, these creeps feel they can do anything they please.

This part wonderfully sums up my own thoughts about the real abortion criminals:

My other epiphanies: those ponytailed guys were marching for abortion rights not because they cherished women's reproductive freedom, but to keep women available for free and easy sex.

Except the Kennedy's didn't wear ponytails, but that's okay. Then she connects it all to the insane hatred for Sarah Palin.

Then along came Sarah, and the attacks became particularly heinous. And I realized something even more chilling about the Left. Leftists not only sacrifice and disrespect women, but it's far worse: many are perpetuators.

The Left's behavior towards Palin is not politics as usual. By their laser-focus on her body and her sexuality, leftists are defiling her.

They are wilding her. And they do this with the full knowledge and complicity of the White House.

The Left has declared war on Palin because she threatens their existence. Liberals need women dependent and scared so that women, like blacks, will vote Democrat.

A strong, self-sufficient woman, Palin eschews liberal protection. Drop her off in the Alaskan bush and she'll survive just fine, thank you very much. Palin doesn't need or want anything from liberals -- not hate crimes legislation that coddles her, and not abortion, which she abhors.

You have got to read the entire thing. Robin owns the left in this piece, in which I believe every single word. She was sick and tired of getting fucked by these freaks.

I think ACORN has got to be scared. It's getting like a poker game at this point. Who's going to fold first? Breitbart is not breaking a sweat. Loved the point about the idiots saying "FOX News is behind this." Then: "So... why aren't they suing FOX news??" These criminals are getting sloppy. Naturally, they haven't had to be careful up until now. They are going to screw up.

Andrew Breitbart: ACORN videos = "the Abu Gharib of the Great Society"

I didn't know how to embed this video, nor whether it's possible, so I'm just linking to it here. But I agree with Andrew Breitbart. There is a war going on with the media. We must use the weapons at our disposal to fight it. And Breitbart has got the mojo to run the dojo.

Someone said "A lie will go around the world while truth is pulling its boots on." There's not much you can do about this velocity disparity since fallen humans often wish lies to be true more than they want to accept the truth.

But once truth does pull on its boots, hopefully the boots will be used to crush skulls and break limbs of the falsehood generators. In this regard, Andrew Breitbart is a fighter to emulate in this war. Thanks to him, ACORN is now toxic to politicians, even if the organization is not completely neutralized. Another guy mentioned here in the past who knows how to wield media weapons is John Ziegler, who commissioned that Zogby poll about how ignorant Obama voters actually were. And, of course, Roger Simon and all the folks over at PJTV.

White House's Patrick Gaspard is Former ACORN Goodfella

President Obama says he hasn't been closely following this ACORN slow-motion train wreck. Maybe not; working on speeches for the UN may have been occupying his time while ACORN's boys in the hood were offering help to smuggle underage prostitutes into the states.

But I'm fairly sure that the White House Political Affairs Director, Patrick Gaspard, has been following it closely. Matthew Vadum blew the lid off yesterday in AmSpec by revealing P-Gas's ties to ACORN. But Vadum gives due credit to Erick Erickson of Redstate for establishing a strong "rolodex" connection between Bertha Lewis, the current ACORN heavy and P-Gas, an ACORN-made guy, who seems to be serving as Consigliere to the group presently.

Excerpt from Vadum's piece on P-Gas:

Newly discovered evidence shows the radical advocacy group ACORN has a man in the Obama White House.

This power behind the throne is longtime ACORN operative Patrick Gaspard. He holds the title of White House political affairs director, the same title Karl Rove held in President Bush's White House.

Evidence shows that years before he joined the Obama administration, Gaspard was ACORN boss Bertha Lewis's political director in New York.

Lewis, the current "chief organizer" or CEO of ACORN, was head of New York ACORN from at least 1994 through 2008, when she took over as national leader of ACORN. With Gaspard at work in the White House, Lewis might as well be speaking to President Obama through an earpiece as he goes about his daily business ruining the country.

Now to deal with the question: who leaked Big Bertha's contact list to Redstate? I mean, ACORN couldn't have any disgruntled employees... could they? Hmmmmm...

Let's beat these squirrels to a bloody pulp

I'm telling you, the hits just keep coming for ACORN. Now their corporate donors are contemplating cutting off the funds.

Corporations that have given ACORN millions of dollars over the years are now cancelling their donations in the wake of videotape revelations of employees of the infamous community organization giving advice on mortgage fraud, tax evasion, prostitution, and child sex slavery.

Bank of America is reviewing its grant program, while Citigroup is waiting for results of official investigations in the scandal. JP Morgan Chase had previously ended its relationship with ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now.

Banks and other financial institutions have given millions of dollars and other forms of support to ACORN for decades in response to boycott threats from the organization, as well as accusations of racism and other forms of discrimination in granting personal loans and mortgages.

The ACORN campaigns followed passage of the 1977 Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), which was designed to pressure financial institutions to loosen lending standards in order to increase home ownership among poor and minority communities. Legislation strengthening CRA during the Clinton administration greatly encouraged such ACORN activities.

I say we keep beating on them, beating on them, beating on them until their blood runs in the streets. However, watching them starve to death would also be rewarding. How you want to do your part is up to you.

Jacobson, president and founder of Maverick Strategies, said banks could risk legal action from unhappy shareholders if managers do not sever financial ties with ACORN.

So you may just want to write letters to every financial institution with which you have business dealing and say, "Don't give these ACORN freaks any more money. They are perverts and criminals. Their public image is at an all time low. Time to find a new charity to support. Or else we will take our business elsewhere." Maybe we should do this as an Organized Community?

Of course he did

From Newsmax: "Activist Jesse Jackson Sr. criticized Congress’s yanking of ACORN funding during an interview with Newsmax.TV’s Kathleen Walter." Of course he criticized ACORN's defunding. He's the same ol' Jesse Jackson we know and love.

"No,” Jackson responded. “There should be an evaluation, and we should make a distinction between what’s gone wrong with what, in fact, has gone right. ACORN has helped a lot of poor people. If there are some people who have made errors, then eliminate them, as ACORN is trying to do. Look within the church. Sometimes, priests have gone astray. Don’t crush the church,” Jackson said.

Help me, I'm drawing a blank. Which churches receive federal funding? He goes on with a typically incoherent "defense" of Obamacare.

Because the private sector’s interests are conceivably narrow,” Jackson said. “Government has reforms for all of its people. The government all, for, and by the people must protect its people . . . Government is, in fact, a stabilizing force and a provider of last resort."

Yes, but Obama and other liberals want to make the federal government the provider of first resort for health care. Also I should point out that I like private institutions with narrow interests—they each focus on one thing and they do it well. But like a reverse Midas touch, the government turns everything with which it comes in contact into crap.

Scott Ott reports on ACORN's soon-to-be-audited Brothel Consulting Services Division

"Obviously, there's been a breach of protocol here," ACORN CEO Bertha Lewis said. "We do not approve of ACORN offices being used for the production of films starring pimps and prostitutes. We are not a film company, and the taxpayer money that funds our operations should not go toward that purpose. If you want to make films about pimps and prostitutes, you get a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts."

ACORN's Brothel Consulting Services Division has strict guidelines regarding the recording of consultation sessions, she said.

"We've reviewed the video and were shocked to discover that confidentiality had been breached by the hidden cameras," Lewis said. "Perhaps the scantily clad prostitute led our staff to forgo the normal wanding and pat-down."

I must confess jealousy for Scott Ott's comedy-writing talent and his cool name. Makes me want to change mine to Pauli Auli, as in "Pauli Auli in free!"

ACORN Supporters: Personally Opposed to Prostitution

Yesterday I was reading John Fund's piece on ACORN's recent and well-deserved misfortunes—here are the first two paragraphs:

On Monday, the U.S. Senate voted 83-7 to strip Acorn, the premier community organizing group on the left, of more than $1.6 million in federal housing money meant to assist low-income people obtain loans and prepare tax forms. This dramatic step followed last Friday's decision by the U.S. Census Bureau to sever its ties with the organization, one of several community groups it was partnering with to conduct the nation's head count.

Both of these actions came after secretly recorded videos involving employees in Acorn's Brooklyn, N.Y., Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Md. and San Bernardino, Calif. offices were televised on Fox News. The videos were recorded by two independent filmmakers who posed as a prostitute and a pimp and said they were planning to import underage women from El Salvador for the sex trade. They asked for and received advice on getting a housing loan and evading federal taxes.

—and my first thought was, well, that's good news. My second thought was to wonder at the identity of these seven squirrels defending the rotten nuts. An easy question to answer, if one knows where to look. They are Roland Burris (D-IL), Robert Casey Jr. (D-PA), Dick Durbin (D-IL), Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), Patrick Leahy (D-VT) and Bernie Sanders (I-VT). Now, don't jump all over Bob Casey, Jr., folks. As a Catholic, I'm sure he is personally opposed to prostitution.


Gee, they looked so happy together. This snapshot predates the selection of Joe Biden as the token Catholic running mate. Why do alpha males always choose the dumbest ones as mates?

Media Ratings in the Crapper

Pew Reports that Americans think the news media is a joke.

The public’s assessment of the accuracy of news stories is now at its lowest level in more than two decades of Pew Research surveys, and Americans’ views of media bias and independence now match previous lows.

Just 29% of Americans say that news organizations generally get the facts straight, while 63% say that news stories are often inaccurate. In the initial survey in this series about the news media’s performance in 1985, 55% said news stories were accurate while 34% said they were inaccurate. That percentage had fallen sharply by the late 1990s and has remained low over the last decade.

Similarly, only about a quarter (26%) now say that news organizations are careful that their reporting is not politically biased, compared with 60% who say news organizations are politically biased. And the percentages saying that news organizations are independent of powerful people and organizations (20%) or are willing to admit their mistakes (21%) now also match all-time lows.

I don't know why they don't boost their ratings with stuff like this:


Plenty of skin and great copy containing words like "prostitute", "pimp" and killer lines like "sex is like dancing". Plus it's a good in depth look into our current President's background. Then there are all the controversial angles, like black women promoting "white slavery". I think they call that reparations if I'm not wrong.

The line that caught my eye/ear is close to the beginning: "What I do, to kinda make it simple, I'm basically a community organizer inside the federal government." Nice.

Sarah Palin: Death by a thousand cuts?

There have been many pieces on Sarah Palin lately. They come from many different angles; most of the ones I've read are good. Jonah's is insightful and thoughtful, as usual. So is Ross Douthat's.

Insightful, thoughtful... but are they useful? These are basically opinion pieces highlighting her strengths and weaknesses, and they have merit. But this one by John Fund actually explains why she stepped down.

This situation developed because Alaska's transparency laws allow anyone to file Freedom of Information Act requests. While normally useful, in the hands of political opponents FOIA requests can become a means to bog down a target in a bureaucratic quagmire, thanks to the need to comb through records and respond by a strict timetable. Similarly, ethics investigations are easily triggered and can drag on for months even if the initial complaint is flimsy. Since Ms. Palin returned to Alaska after the 2008 campaign, some 150 FOIA requests have been filed and her office has been targeted for investigation by everyone from the FBI to the Alaska legislature. Most have centered on Ms. Palin's use of government resources, and to date have turned up little save for a few state trips that she agreed to reimburse the state for because her children had accompanied her. In the process, though, she accumulated $500,000 in legal fees in just the last nine months, and knew the bill would grow ever larger in the future.

This is the kind of thing that news media glosses over, not just because of ideology but because of the yawn factor. Just like the ACORN agitators and their role in Obama's rise -- where's the story? You get better ratings when you say magic words like "pregnant teenager" or "Republican scandal". Here's Fund's depressing conclusion:

....Ms. Palin mostly likely will not run for president -- in 2012, at least. She made many mistakes after suddenly being thrust into the national spotlight last year, but hasn't merited the sneering contempt visited upon her by national reporters. She simply was not their kind of feminist -- and they disdained the politically incorrect life choices she had made.

In helping to convince Sarah Palin that her road forward in national politics would demand even more sacrifices and pain than exacted from most politicians, the media did nothing to encourage women or people of modest means to participate in politics. By sidestepping her critics, Sarah Palin is now moving to another playing field where she has more control over the rules of the game. Her friends say her critics may call her a "quitter" now, but they should wait and see what new role she decides to fill. She may wind up having the last laugh.

News Release: Buckeye Institute Files State Rico Action Against ACORN

COLUMBUS, OH - The Buckeye Institute, a Columbus-based think tank, today filed a state RICO action against the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) on behalf of two Warren County voters. The action filed in Warren County Court of Common Pleas alleges ACORN has engaged in a pattern of corrupt activity that amounts to organized crime. It seeks ACORN's dissolution as a legal entity, the revocation of any licenses in Ohio, and an injunction against fraudulent voter registration and other illegal activities.

Plaintiffs Jennifer Miller of Mason, Ohio and Kimberly Grant of Loveland, allege that ACORN's actions deprive them of the right to participate in an honest and effective elections process. They allege fraudulent voter registrations submitted by ACORN dilute the votes of legally registered voters.

"The right to cast a vote that is not diluted by fraudulent votes is a fundamental individual right," Buckeye Institute President David Hansen said.

"ACORN appears to be recklessly disregarding Ohio laws and adding thousands of fraudulent voters to the state's roles in the process," Maurice Thompson, Director of the Buckeye Institute's 1851 Center for Constitutional Law said. "Such voter fraud erodes the value of legally cast votes," he added.

In the complaint, Thompson cites an accumulation of evidence showing numerous instances of admitted fraud by ACORN employees, as well as individuals solicited by ACORN.

"In light of its hiring, training and compensation practices, ACORN should have known its conduct would cause fraud," Thompson said. "It also should know that its conduct will cause fraud in the future."

In addition, the complaint cites conduct by ACORN in Colorado, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
