Stay Classy, Sarah Palin Hataz
The Fairbanks Daily Cage-Liner published a story about Palin's speech at a Hong Kong investors conference on Wednesday. The caption that appeared with the photo for the story read, "A broad in Asia."
The Cage-Liner's managing editor Rod Boyce published an apology later in the afternoon for the paper's "terrible mistake."
The News-Miner is the actual name of the publication, but I think it would be more accurate to refer to its best use, i.e., lining the birdcage.
Imagine. Just imagine....
ReplyDeleteA Liberal Democrat goes over to COMMUNIST CHINA, criticizes the policies a sitting Republican president - and gets paid (conservative estimate) a quarter-of-a-million big ones for his or her trouble.
Can you even fathom the stink the right wing crazies would make at such a scenario? Oh, brother! The very thought of it boggles the mind.
I love Sarah Palin. I honestly and truly hope she never, EVER goes away. To a committed Lefty such as yours truly, she's just the gift that keeps giving and giving and giving and giving and giving and giving....

You mean these two Liberal Democrats?
DeleteWhat's wrong with her getting $250,000.00 for giving a speech? Supply and demand. So called "lefties" criticized Bush overseas all the time; it's not a big deal.
ReplyDeleteLet's see. Sarah Palin made $250,000 in one day, or approximately $225,000.98 more than Tom Degan will earn at the Wendy's drive-thru this year. Despite all the hate, she has almost even-money odds to be the next president of the United States. Tom, meanwhile, has a blog that no one reads except for the occasional conservative that clicks over after one of his trollish comments in order to see precisely what kind of whackjob he is.
ReplyDeleteBut Sarah Palin is the joke. Whatever gives you comfort when you're sleeping on the floor again.
I don't know, Cranky. Tom's blog seems to have a readership. His writing style is pretty good too. The content is mostly confined to the liberal trope-of-the-day about conesrvatives, but oh, well.
